The
Hydrogen website is the public interface of the Oxygen Media Research
Project, which is headquartered in the Department of Film Studies
at the University of California-Santa Barbara.
On the site users will find information about our methods, our findings,
and they will discover links and spaces dedicated to multimedia literacy,
criticism and activism. We hope that the site will attract an international
community of scholars and activists concerned about the democratization
of digital media.
Our international partners in the Netherlands are helping us forge
connections with digitally disadvantaged communities in Southern and
Eastern Europe and Southern Africa.
